Today is Mid-autumn Festival, also a Chinese public holiday. However, some companies are so busy that the bosses have arranged one or more persons to be on duty in the company. According to the national payment rules, those who keep working during state statutory holidays should be paid three times as the ordinary pay. So, a lot of workers are willing to work on statutory holidays if they have nothing else to do. However, quite a number of people will choose to go back home (from the city they are working to the city of their hometown where their parents are living), even though most of the time will be spent on the road, to enjoy a short family reunion. Then, what about you? triple pay or family reunion, which one will you choose?

It would depend on how long it has been since I saw my family.

That's it. But, in China, there are a lot of migrant workers, they go big cities to earn money so as to support the whole family. Have you ever heard of leftover children? Can you imagine that there are many villages with the elderly and the children only?
