I did not get to see any lunar eclipse. I read in the newspaper few days ago that it will not be visible in India so I am not sure whether we Indians had any possibility of seeing it.

@ria1606roy - Yes, this is what I read also. Moon was looking comparatively bigger and more bright.
It was a rare phenomenon but I think it was visible in few countries.

@dpk262006 yeah like in the US. I went and saw the moon just few moments ago, it's still very bright with a very thin blue halo.

I heard that the lunar eclipse was visible very partially. But the full moon was really big from what I've heard. These phenomena don't coincide often.

Yeah it's the last of the 4 serial lunar eclipses and the next lunar eclipse is not gonna be for some years after tonight. Plus moon is the closest to Earth today, at perigee. So it's a double sight to see!
