discounts are true or not

some festival time many sellers introduce their discounts on their products.like buy one get two or 50% offer price.but these are worth the goods or not?

I think it depends on the item and the price in the end. Sometimes you can find really good deals, but other times it's just a gimmick. They give you a 50% on a $200 item which is still pretty pricey (imo).
