why humans be proud or where they lived?

non of us chose where to born, or even chose who parents will be , then how you can be proud of something you did not chose and something you even did not help create at all? why we humans love to do this ? we even rage war for this ? WHY?

Greetings! Unfortunately, I can't also explain nor understand what happens. We get proud of something we're not even responsible of. And we believe we are privileged or that we're better than others for that. And we go to the point of causing wars and killing people in the name of... a place? A birth place? Come on, that's insane. The great deal, though, is that the territorial lines are not simply terrain borders. They're political borders. Political frontiers. Which means POWER borders. Inside specific borders, there are valuable resources. And the ones who are born within don't want to share those, saying it's theirs. C'mon, it's ours. All of us should deserve it. Respectfully.

thank you ... i really dont understand, as i see the same in all the world, all backgrounds , all ethnicities . and each one defends it the way he knows, but all are the same thing, is it that humans need something to be proud of , ? any thing? i really want to research this

@Salamnda When you're nothing but you need to be anything, you start finding something to hold yourself onto. Try it by that angle, I'm sure you'll find answers. :)
