Positivity on Facebook

I like to see positive things on Facebook. I know there can be a bunch of drama. So, looking to read and hear about positive things help place me in a better mood, when i am feeling down or ill. Recently a friend was saying all those positive posts and photos are fake. People in general aren't that happy or positive. She asked me how many people talk to you on Facebook but when they see you in a store or walking down the street will walk right past you? She said that isn't positive. That is being fake. What do you think of positivity on Facebook?

Well, it's the case with everybody that about 1% of your friends on FB are your real friends, others are just names on a list. And spreading positivity is to keep the mood uplifted, doesn't mean mostly to any of us when applies in real life. Though we all like a laugh once in a while. That's why I like reading jokes and memes.

I enjoy reading the jokes to. i seen a joke tonight on Facebook that gets past around Halloween every year. It was a picture of Will Feral. He said Jehovah witnesses don't believe in Halloween. That they must not like random strangers coming up and knocking on their doors. I had to laugh. As that is what Jehovah witnesses does. knock on random strangers doors.

I believe some are genuine, but I think Facebook has become a medium that people use mainly to give a good impression about themselves. Most people that I have on my Facebook are people that I personally know though, so when I meet them outside we'd still talk to each other.

I am friends with a lady since highschool. We usually talk when we see each other. Last Saturday I was with my boyfriend and seen her, she acted like she didn't see me when i waved. My boyfriend noticed she look mad every time she looked out way. It was weird.

@rusty2rusty Yeah that was a little weird. Probably there was something bothering her? I know some people who pretend not to notice other people they know when they just don't feel like talking to them. It's strange.

There are many genuine people on Facebook as well as vain, or aggressive morons. It is a great place to find event and party and campaigning invitations, and talk to authors.

That's true. Facebook is big mix of everything. I tend to block those who cause drama with me or my family.

Most of the time people see is - politics, paranoia, religion debates, feminism and whining. I wonder if there are any positive things left on facebook. I learned that it is better to disconnect to learn something there.

What I have started doing was share all kinds of animals pictures in between my writing posts and other stuff. I started doing that because animals make me happy. i want to share happy stuff. So, I share something that makes me happy. None of those graphic drama photos.

Being postive is a whole lot better than being negative.

I agree with you. I feel much better having a positive attitude. Instead of a negative one.

I respond to people better if they are posting positive things. I tend to stay away from the drama queens
