Do You Keep Those Products In The Bathroom?

The bathroom is the most humid room of the house.
When we take a bath or a shower, the humidity increases, as it does the temperature.
Here is a list of objects that should never be kept in a humid and hot place, but we tend to put them in the bathroom cabinet.
Makeup items
Medicines (keep them always in a dry and cool place)
Electronic gadgets
Razor blades (they can rust).
Clean spare towels - they can develop molds and smell bad
I am guilty of keeping my makeup purse next to the sink.
The medicine and towels are in other rooms.

The towels are in the bathroom. But, they use them with such alarming speed that they never have a chance to sit around and get damp and moldy. I do keep the hair dryers, etc, in the bathroom closet. And the razors are disposable so they put them right in the shower and yes, they rust. It 's not likely to change because there isn't any other place to keep them.

Out of those 5 things, we only have razor blades in the bathroom. What sort of electronic gadgets would people keep in the bathroom, though?

no we don't keep these in the bathroom, except the razor. You are right, they rust. However for the others, there isn't enough space inside, and we have separate cabinets for medicine and towels. Also gadgets---- we never use inside a bathroom.

HI Anna, NO to all of them.
I do not wear makeup! LOL
Medicines I keep in my study. (Out of bounds for everyone)
Electonic gadgets( An electric toothbrush but I charge it in my study)
I use an electric razor although it can be used in the shower!
Towels in the airing cupboard not in the bathroom.
So I think I should be ok!

I keep my towels in a separate room, but I am guilty of keeping my medicines in the medicine cabinet. If there is one saving grace, the air conditioner vent in my bathroom blows directly in the direction of the medicine cabinet, so hopefully that helps keep the heat/humidity away from the medicines.

@LadyDuck It's interesting how many people take things for granted. Having grown up and lived my whole life in Florida, I've always had A/C everywhere I lived. Sometimes I forget that not everybody has that luxury (in Florida, we consider it a necessity due to the heat and humidity!).

@moffittjc We do not consider it a necessity in our country, because we only have about two hot weeks in a year. What we really need is a good heating system and, possibly, also a fireplace.

Yes, you have valid point to make that medicines, make up kit etc. should not be kept in the bathroom.
I do not keep any make up item in the bathroom (because I do not need to). I also do not keep any electronic gadgets in the bathroom.

I don't have anywhere else to keep these things, so yes, they stay in the bathroom. But we go through them very quickly so they aren't there for long.

We don't really face this problem and been keeping all these items in the bathroom for years. I guess our towel closet is far enough from the shower, it doesn't get any moisture in there. Razors aren't sitting in water, but left blade. side up to dry. I've yet to ever see a rusty blade except the ones my step mom would keep on her kitchen window . If you've got an exhaust fan, turn it on during showers. This will help a lot with the moisture in the air.

I’m not guilty of keeping any of those in my bathroom. :D Makeup, razors, towels, all of them are in my bedroom. The only things I have in the bathroom are bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body washes, and soaps.
