remember going to a hotel one time. We ordered breakfast and I got Hawaiian waffles. They had pineapple and nuts in them. So delicious. Do you like anything special for breakfast? An omelette perhaps. A mushroom omelette maybe. What is your favorite breakfast?

@celticeagle They are so good, I had them for breakfast in the United States the first time I visited. This is something you cannot find in Europe, I have to make them.

I prefer salty breakfast, for example french toasts or cheese pies. If I am in the mood for something sweet, I might prepare pancakes as well. I have a great recipe with banana and yogurt, but I only make this in weekends because it takes time to prepare and cook them.
Hawaiian pancakes with pineapple sound delicious.

@celticeagle My boyfriend is like you, he likes sweet breakfast. We can never agree so we usually prepare both and then mix them up a little.

@gudheart .....I love clover honey. Very tasty. Grams used to make panacakes the size of the pan. And an inch thick. Those were the days.

@celticeagle Real butter is lovely with thick pancakes. Not sure about the honey though.

I'm with you. Omelettes are tasty too . Like mushroom and cheese. I love hash browns but not those shredded things. Sheep herders is best.

I usually do something simple during the week like a bagel w cream cheese. On the weekends I like a big breakfast like toast, eggs, bacon and sausage. Sometimes I'll do stuffed french toast etc. Depends on what my mood is

We have variety of snacks for breakfast here in India. One of our favorites is Poha flattered rice fired with vegetables alongwith Jalebi -a sweet item made with sugar syrup & flour. we get this combo offer on a very nominal price in almost all the food stalls...
