Do You Delete Your Notifications?

West Haven, Connecticut

I just joined yesterday and im curious to know if anyone else deletes their notifications after viewing them. I began deleting some this morning after responding to comments and other users discussions. Its helps me stay organized and I can actually respond to everyone one by one then deleting the notification and interacting some more! How about you? Do you delete notifications as well?

I've gotten in the habit of doing so - just stay organized! I forgot at what point your bottom ones will automatically be deleted, so if you don't clean up, it'll eventually do it for you. I wanted to respond to your post at the other place about it being slow to tell you about "here", but I couldn't do anything there at the time!! Very frustrating but good you are here now (so many of "us" are here). Oh - and you may know me there as SmilePie.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX To be honest I hardly ever look at my notifications. I get e-mails occasionally and tend to respond to those and don't see the need to even check my notifications.

Yes, I have to delete them or they would drive me crazy. I find it to just be a clutter on my screen, and always means more scrolling. Which in turns means work, and I am allergic to work.

Yes, I delete my notifications after I have read them. This is useful to see immediately how many new ones I get.

Absolutely, what would be the point of leaving them?

Yes I do as a matter of fact. I delete them individually after commenting or responding to the discussion. I find it easier for me, as it keeps me from getting confused to which ones I did and the ones I didn't do.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I get the most notifications over night. Sometimes I get a lot, and sometimes,I don't get that many. It sometimes takes me awhile to do them and sometimes it doesn't. I am just glad that I do get notifications, as it gives me more to comment or respond to.

I always delete my notifications after I respond to them. I like the way they do the notifications here opposed to the other site.

Yes I do. I clear my notifications as soon as I'm done replying to the comments/responses. It really makes things easier.

Is there a way to delete the notifications? I figured you just view them and then they disappear. I don't really know, nor have I thought to look into it further. Maybe I should though so i don't get overwhelmed at the idea.

I hadn't thought about deleting my notifications, I'll have to give it a try. It would definitely make it easier to see where I left off on them.

I never look at my notifications on here. As I choose to get notifications in my mail box. I open each one of them. Than delete from mail box.
