do you think a parent has an excuse when he/she abandons their kids? I don't think there's any excuse but I think that in many cases this happens for the best and it's the best thing that could happen for those kids if they end up in great families

People always have excuses, Are they good excuses all the time? Afraid not so much. I think if one abandons their child, it depends on the circumstances and how they did it.
Such as giving a child up for adoption - That shows a parent knows they will not be a good parent or knows hey can't support a child.

@swissheart Wouldn't adoption be a form of abandoning a child, as you would be walking away to never seem them again?

@rusty2rusty I guess you could consider it that way. but if you don;t have the posibility to raise them wouldn't it be a better thing than abandoning the child into a hospital or something like that( I even saw a case where a child was abandoned in the garbage

i have to agree it depends on the situation as to would the kids be better off the parents have a obligation they kinda are responsible for how thats handles but their can be several reasons why a parent shouldn't be included in the childs life it just depends on the situation and what is going on then you have the situation where the parents use the children to get what they want as a bargining tool thats not right either

yes but in the first place they shouldn't bring the child to this world if they don';t have the means to raise him. there are so many protective methods right now and that's why I don't understand these parents

The man I recently was with had his mother abandon him when he was a child. However years later; they communicated and saw each other. Maybe the woman had her reasons, to abandon him at the time. But in my opinion, if you have kids, you have an obligation... if you don't want kids then be smart about family planning! if you have kids and don't want them, put em up for adoption, don't abandon them...

yes indeed. searching for a good family who can raise them it's the best thing you can do. you can't just dump them like that. you shouldn't even do that to an animal
