My Sinusis Are Killing Me!

I have never suffered from allergies or sinuses before and after I caught a cold two weeks ago they have been on and off. I have a severe headache whenever I cough, sneeze, bend my head or yell, it is driving me insane! Im a little bit scared thought because online it says that if not treated I can go deaf or blind. The pain goes on for about 5 mins then fades away but If I sneeze or cough its over for me... I am taking antibiotics now and I hope I can recover this weekend, if not im going to have to go to the Hospital on Monday morning.

So sorry to hear of your pain and illness Michael. I hope that it clears at least somewhat by Monday. There is some weird stuff now that makes us sick. Hard to identify.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I never had illnesses until the last few years and it was like what you are describing..I think the viruses or bugs are getting worse for humankind. Blessings and healing to you.

Sorry about your Sinus Michael. I believe the humidity can aggravate it plus smoke, or chemical fumes around you. Besides, what you can do is to try and get some tumeric roots and ginger roots, then brew it. Drink it like 4 times a day and you will feel a lot relieved. Since we came here we have gone all organic and it has helped my family a lot. Best wishes mate

Yes, ginger helps a lot in this. My doctor had suggested to apply ginger paste on my forehead and it had extremely good effect.

Well I hope you feel better soon. You should go sooner if it is not any better, no fun being in pain all weekend long.

I am having the same problem. It started a couple days ago. It's not too bad yet, but I can feel the pressure behind my eyes and in the bridge of my nose. Take some sudafed and you'll feel better, and try to get lots of sleep and fluids.

I am also a real bad patient of sinus problem. I have suffered a lot in my undergrad days. Homeopath medicines helped me a bit. But I feel it's got more to do with the place you live in. When I moved to another place, I didn't experience it for about 2 years. Now I've moved again and it's been 1 more year without any problems!! I guess it cured itself when I changed my place.

I'm prone to sinus infections, so I know how you feel. I have a lot of allergies as well, especially with the temperature changes, and my nose has been running like a waterfall for weeks now. I have a lot of sinus pressure as well. When it gets bad, I get a sharp headache when I bend over or cough as well. Unfortunately, I usually just suffer with it, so I don't have any advice for you. Just try to get lots of rest and vitamins, and I hope you get better fast.

You need to make sure it really is a cold or sinus. Unless it is a sinus infection. It's good that you're taking antibiotics. Get some rest, drink fluids and it should pass. I have had my share of sinus infections and colds and allergies.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I had taken Advil cold and sinus, that helped take the pressure out of my head. And I once had to go to my ear nose and throat doctor for a sinus infection. He gave me a saline noise spray to use. That helped. And he also gave me an anti-biotic. It went away in a few days.
