its one of the worst things your kids may face in schools , specially when they feel they need to defend their selves and their defends considered punishable when they hit back to the offenders,
we talk to the school about this, and they say , kids must not react to others,
so how can you tell a kid not to defend him self when he is being hit or bullied while your not dong any thing to monitor this kind of incidents in the school and you always say his word against the others and at the end you discover from witness that the offenders are laying and not telling the truth
how would you deal with something like this?

That's a difficult one. Will younger kids, "tell a teacher" is fine. But with older kids, that's harder to do. Playgrounds are larger, and much bullying occurs after school. Research shows that standing up to a bully reduces being bullied. But any teacher who says "Just smack the kid back" would be fired immediately. What do you think?

Its a difficult thing. I was bullied in high school but it finally stopped when I stood up and confronted the bullies. Nothing physical. I did the same when my kids told me the were bullied. I had a serious chat with the bully and it never happened again
