Why do some people feel they have to do everything alone?

It's one thing to be independent but it's another thing to participate in alienation and completely separate yourself from others. Even if it is to fill a gap of emptiness in one's life and one believes it is a selfless act because it connects to someone they once cared about in the past, it comes off as their selfishness dividing them because of the obsessive theme of 'I,Myself,Me.' Saying things like I can do this by myself or I didn't ask for your help. No one needs a reason to help anyone. If your looking for an escape, don't. Life is about facing forward not just merely existing. If our hearts sometimes lead us to make decisions without giving a thought to the overall concept of the problem, why do some who alienate themselves from others think no one could understand them? People just help others without giving it a thought or going into the deeper reasons of why they did it in the first place. Aren't those in alienation the same way? Perhaps the real reason is just past reparation and because the person in alienation is still existing, they believe they are focusing on the present and don't focus on why they are doing what they are doing in the first place.Aren't those who aren't in alienation the same way so they could somewhat understand why some people believe they have to do everything alone? We do actions without thinking why we did that in the first place so why do people in alienation feel no one can understand them?

I think some people are just more comfortable being in their own world and that's where they find comfort. It is strange when we don't understand them, but I believe they have reasons for wanting to live their lives that way.
