It's Grand Final time

Today is a big day for aussie rules football, especially if you are in Melbourne. The football season culminates in a Grand Final held in Melbourne at this time of the year.This year there is a western australian team competing. We have two Teams over here and a lot of us were devastated last week when one of the teams lost the game so was out of the running. At least we have one Team in the game it if I do watch it this year it wont matter so much who wins I can just enjoy the game. Although it would be nice if the Team from Perth did win. Bryan Adams has just finished singing at the Oval so the game is about to start, I'm off to see the first kick.

@ria1606roy @Ragnarok8 The game was between Hawthorn a Victorian team and West Coast Eagles a Western Australian team. Hawthorn won by many points. Hawthorn was the better side

@jstory07 I wasn't into sports all that much but my husband loved sports he never barracked for one team he just wanted the best team to win. I learned a lot about sport from him.

I've never seen a game of Aussie Rules, well, I may have on TV. We used to stay at the Victoria Hotel in Melbourne and it was the base for the Magpies - that's an Aussie Rules team isn't it?

@glenniah Melbourne was a little to staid for me, especially after Kings Cross in Sidney!! Hopefully now that it is 43 years later it has gotten better!
