Can you help me?

What is Google AdSense? Can you just explain it to me? Ads of what? Why does have 'sense' in the title when doesn't make any? I have wondered for about four years now what in the world this is. I have read articles on it and it still doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

It is too complex actually. I hope somebody who is a native English speaker comes here and explains it. If not, I will try to return and explain sentence by sentence, hoping you will understand it.

That is what I was hoping for. All they do is explain the program again and again. I appreciate it but I know all of that. I looking to see how it affects me. How am I able to make money from it. I don't think I can. And, I will just stay away from it cause I don't understand it well enough.
