Aren't animals better than humans???

The other day i saw 2 men badly punching and beating a teenager ( he appeared to be half of their age). Around 20 people gathered as 'spectators'. But no one cared to help the wounded kid. But then a dog (who ws probaby the boy's pet since he had a leash around his neck) came from nowhere n started barking and pulling their pants... The two men eventually ran away. But the incident left me wondering that m i foolish enough to trust humans???? Or are animals actually more caring than my very own species???? What do you guys think....i know there must b numerous pet owners out here on mylot...

@shivuspeaks Ok, you have a good excuse if you were on an overhead bridge, and at least you tried to help him afterwards.

Times are changing, honestly when not around family or friends, I prefer to be around my animals, they are no trouble, not crazy and do no harm. Yes , animals will love you endlessly, of course you have some bad animal owners and the animals might turn on you.

Yeah...exceptions are everywhere. But there's no denying the fact that animals are a men's best friend.

Honestly people always disappoint you with their self centered behavior, they help only someone close to them or else watch the fun ! disgusting ! Animals go by instinct and they don't have the crookedness that human beings have..

I completely agree. Humanity is non existent these days. Animals probably have got a vetter recognition of their loved ones.

There are so many people who either don't want to or are scared to get involved. I may not have jumped in to help because I would be afraid I would be hurt but I would call the police. Most of the time, I do think animals are better than humans.

I'm not a pet owner but I definitely am backing you on this theory. Humans in this age have lost humanity, the definition of being human is in jeopardy. Animals at least have a sense of right and wrong.

I wonder why they beat up the young man. I think the young man must have done something wrong, but getting beaten up is too much of a punishment. I think animals are different from us. They kill for food, they do not kill for fun.

great that the dog intervened when so many people chose not to. I would have called the police and taken photos of the assailants as evidence had I witnessed such an appalling assault

I couldn't call the police. But i managed to take a few pictures and later handed them over to the boy. I've mentioned it below in a previous comment.
