My husband was always downloading documentary videos where you can watch how 7 years old boy and his younger brothers work just to earn 15 pesos and if they got luck 70 pesos in the end of the day. The kids work more than 12 hours in the forest to look for good quality woods that they will sell in furniture makers but since they're kids, they failed to make a good cut on the woods so it lessen the quality and they can only sell it in a very low price. While watching the video I never imagine that poverty can change the mind of a young boy on the way he think. The one who made the video asked the boy why he don't go to school instead of doing that work. His answer was because they need money to buy food and they don't have enough money to send their self to school and their parents also don't have enough income. Here in our country 15 pesos is not enough to buy even just 1 kilo of rice.

Do you mean right now as we are 2015? They still make that little money? How much does it cost for a child to go to school then?

yes, in some part of our country there are still so many less fortunate people who need to work hard but super less income. We have public schools where we don't have to pay tuition fees but kids still need to buy books, notebooks, and other school supplies which some family can't afford.
