mouthwatering sambhar recipe(south indian lentil soup)

hi!everyone.this is one of my favourite recipes called sambhar loved by all my family members.hope u also like it Ingredients
2 cups of toor dal(arhar dal),4.5 cups of water ,turmeric powder 1.5 tsps,red chilly powder 2 tsps,fresh curry leaves 2 sprigs or 1 cup ,cooking oil 1 cup,green chilly 2to 3
tomatoes 5 cut,tamarind pulp 3/4 cup
bottleguard broadly cut 2 cups,5 to 6 carrots sliced lengthwise,2 drumsticks cut lengthwise,2 bid onions cut lengthwise,coriander leaves 1.5 cup,mustard seeds 1.5 tsps
dry red chilly 5 to 6,coriander seeds 2 tsps
4 to 5 garlic crushed
method:
first dry roast coriander seeds in a pan for 2 minutes and grind it.keep asde.in pressure cooker add washed dal.4.5 cups of water,turmeric 1/2 tsp,red chilly powder 1 tsp.green chilly,1 spoon oil,1/2 cup curry leaves,tomatoes and pressure cook for 10 minutes.first keep on high flame.after 1 whistle reduce the flame to sim and let the dal cook for 8 minutes.switch the flame and let it cool.
keep any deep cooking vessel on the flame.add 2 spoons oil to it.after the oil heats up add 1/2 spoon mustard seeds.when the mustard cracles and onions.saute for 2 minutes.then add bottleguard pieces,carrots and drumsticks and fry for more 3 minutes.then add remaining turmeric and red chilly powder and 2 glasses of water.mix it well and cover and cook for 5 minutes.meanwhile open pressure cooker and mash the cooked dal nicely with cooked tomatoes evenly.after 5 minutes add cooked dal mixture and tamarind pulp to the cooked vegetables.add more water,salt and coriander leaves.add coriander seeds powder.the sambhar should be of medium consistency.adjust acc to taste.for tempering take 2 spoons of oil in a small pan.add garlic mustard seeds.when it cracles,add dry red chillies and remaining curry leaves.pour this tempring on cookes sambhar.keep covered for 5 minutes.enjoy with idly,dosa or hot rice anything which u like
