And she's BACK!

We have been leaving the porch light on for Princess at night as well as leaving the door ajar when we are gone (not at night) hoping she would find her way home. As hubby says, diligence pays off. At 4 a.m. when hubby got up for the bathroom he looked out on the back porch and Princess was there waiting to come in. She ate a hearty meal, checked out the house, came and snuggled ME not Bob and is in general making sure we are following our routine. She is watching as Bob showers, which is her normal practice. My latest theory: She was banged up from falling off the moving car on Thursday morning. She has been lying low, letting any sore spots heal. She had a head injury and became confused. I say all this because I know it is common for animals to take a rest when injured, and she is markedly thinner and there is a crease on her skull that was not there before. I also think she believes Bob tossed her off his little car on purpose, as she chose to give most of her affection to me. We have been waiting to start sleeping at the new house until we found her. She is back, and we will take her to her new home today. No more confusion for her running between homes. So, that is the latest. I am out to put notifications up on FaceBook and other websites that she has returned.
