After a long time out, I am returning to myLot again, and I find this next to my profile photo. $0.0000. Will somebody please explain to me how does it work? Right now, it marks 0.0224 what does it mean? Do I have $224 dollars already? I imagine, that the cero left to the point marks dollars, but I like to be sure, so, if someone finds a little time to let me know, I would be grateful. Thanks.

The figure that you show is a little over 2 cents. The dollars and cents are separated by the decimal point. This can be a little deceptive at first because it has 4 digits for the cents, which means that it is monitored in hundredths of a cent increments.

Thank you very much, I appreciate this. I imagined so, but, couldn't find any specific mention in the faqs area, so, I decided to ask. Thanks again, and enjoy your day.

@albto_568 You are perfectly welcome. Asking is always worthwhile rather than struggling on something that seems confusing. There are many members here who will always be glad to help if you have any problems.

Welcome back to mylot. You came back at a good time, when they are paying again. I was gone for two years after they stopped paying, and I didn't come back until August 9th of this year. I wasn't going to come back, but I decided to see what was going on in here. When I saw the dollar signe and all the zeros, it was then that I knew they were paying again. That really made my day for sure. By the way, I just got my first payment on October 2nd, and I am very happy.

I didn't go because they stopped paying, I moved, and for a while, had not enough time to spend on internet. Later, I just forget, actually, until I came back, I didn't know they had stopped paying at all. Thank you for your response.

@albto_568 Yea, they stopped paying two years ago, because they sold the site and the ones that bought it decided not to pay us. The original owners are now in control again, and are paying us, and I am so glad too. I just got paid on Friday for this month, so it is true that they are paying again. I love mylot, and I am so glad that I came back.

A mark dollar whats that? A German note or a someone who likes to sign his money? How can I find time? Do I let my eyes run around a clock hand? I want to know what a cero is? Where does a sense of humour go?

0.0224 is just over 2 cents - ignore the last 2 digits - they are 100th's of a cent - everything to the left of the decimal point is dollars - yours will go up the longer you are here and the more you do

My two cents is that you've already made two cents. I am new and am learning how the site works.

Good question. I've wondered the same thing. I thought I had 25 cents when I joined on Sunday. I was wrong. Now it's about 12 cents. It takes a while to get used to, even my goal is to aim for 1 dollar a day, if manageable.

Me too, find it confusing at first, when I came back, I still wonder why they show it by thousandths of a cent increments, but is kind of fun, once you get used to it. I am also aiming for 1$ a day, but is not easy. Good luck.

@KristenH I think that two-three dollars a week is reasonable, if we have not much time to be online for long. In my experience, is better to think in quality rather than quantity, refering to our contributions in the site.

@albto_568 Thanks so much. It would be so much easier without rounding off to the thousandths in my opinion. I know. Maybe $1 a week.

If you can earn $224 in a year in Mylot, that will be good! I think most of the users just aim for a low $10 every month. Even then $120 a year is still good enough to pay for a couple of months of internet usage. I am glad that Mylot has started paying again. Hopefully all the users will return.

It seems that you have been away from MyLot for a while. Are you planning to return to activity?

Yes, for some personal issues, I was away not only from here, but the web in general, for a while, now, I have a little more time, but not, as much as I'd want to, so, yes, I'll be back, but I doubt that 100%, as I used to.
