When was the last time you did something for the first time??

We all have a bucket list of activities that we wish to try before we turn 40 or before we retire. I have quite a few. But usually, we get so busy with our lives that we hardly get time for such things. But, i still try to do something new and creative, at least once a month. I recently tried my hand at pencil shading (it didn't turn out well). So when was the last time you tried something for the first time? What exactly was that? Did you enjoy it? Are you going to try it again?

That's a good question. I bought a truly "vintage" musical instrument for the first time about three months ago. I've been recording some of my own music (at a friend's home studio) using over-dubbing for the first time ever over the past year. Started playing bass about seven years ago. Learned my first real jazz tune on bass about two months ago. I'm trying to think of something I want to do that I still haven't done. Write a song that makes it to "main stream" radio?

@shivuspeaks Thanks. As in many things, it's a matter of plugging along until "something happens."

That's just mind bogglingly amazing. I fell short of fingers to count. You seem so deeply immersed in music. As far as your song is concerned, you are definitely going to come up with something splendid. All the very best!!
