How to create a perfect balance between three writing sites. This is something I am trying to do and it does not seem to be working. I like all three sites I write on and want to remain a loyal member and an active member. But I get on one, start responding, then get on another and so on. But then I get confused. Like which one should I post on first. Or which post I wrote should be posted on which site. Then I get frustrated. And at that point, I turn everything off and go watch TV. Hoping a little refueling will help. But it does not work. I was thinking about a day for each site. But that means I will only get to each one every three days. And then sometimes I am in the mood for a certain site so that blows that theory out of the water.
Then I thought of working all three in one day. But I would break down so many hours for each. But then again, I get confused and frustrated. I might be on one site and start thinking about the other sites and say to myself, wait, this post that I am about to write should not be posted here, but I will post it there instead. So at that point I will want to open the other site and then get engrossed in that site and forget about the site I am on. So, I still believe there has to be a better way to get to all three sites more often. To be active on all more often. I feel guilty that if I am on one site that I am neglecting the other two sites. Is that fair? No, at least it don’t seem fair. Now here is a good example. This post I am writing right here right now. What site should I post this one on. I don’t know. Then I start to think about the connections I have.
I start breaking things down. I say to myself that this post might work on site A. I might get a better response from site A than sites B and C. And at that point I say, maybe the connection on the other sites might also appreciate this post as well. And by not posting it on those sites, they will be missing out. I find that unfair. I know it makes no sense to post the same post on all three sites. It’s just wrong. Could I change it up a bit for each site? Yes, but then again, that is not fair. That also makes no sense to me. I feel that a post should be unique for the site it is posted on. and the problem is not so much of posting on all three sites, it is more the responding on all three. That takes time and that’s where it gets rough. Now that I am basically done with this post, I now have to figure out which site I think this post will work best on.

It is hard for you to juggle with three sites. In my case ,I only have two sites to visit and start fewer posts on both of them. When one site is slow due to the heavy traffic online I go to the other and vice versa.

@changjiangzhibin89 Now that is way off the hook. 10 sites. Wow. I would go completely crazy if I wrote on 10 sites. I think my head would explode.

I basically have the same problem--I thought I would solve it by just posting Monday, Wednesday and Friday giving me Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to respond, read and comment BUT it is a different post on each and in some cases the response will be too much plus I check out other sites. I don't think you can ever catch up!
I am just doing the best I can and in most instances I will comment on two posts of a person who commented on one of mine. And now I have to go to your most recent post!! :O)

@GreatMartin Well, you know I am on Bubblews and here, but I am also on Persona Paper. I like all three sites. Although MyLot is by far the best one. I like to have these sites. I still feel loyal to them for some reason.

I write at several sites but I don't give a whole lot of thought to it. I just do what I can

the best way to maintain balance is to use a single one

@babaraimc Not really. They can both be online at the same time and I can do both at the same time. But I have been leaning more toward MyLot lately. It just makes more sense to me.

I am here at myLot, over at PP and Chatabout as well. I do find it hard to log into PP and for the pages to load. The last several times I have tried I get to the site but it just keeps spinning and I can't do anything else.

@inertia4 Are you able to get into PP? I can't post anything. I can bring the pages up and I am already logged in but I can't get anywhere.

@Shellyann36 I have noticed today that it was somewhat buggy. I don't know. I do know that they are looking for a moderator to keep the site going. They were teetering on closing down. And who knows if that won't happen anyway. I like that site. Bubblews is been buggy also. All those error messages. Pages don't load. This seems to be the only saving grace left.

Choose this site or that site, it's really a question. But it makes no sense to be so intertwined, as you can't have your cake and eat it too.Just write more posts with different topics.

It can definitely be an issue to decide what to post on which site and why. It's important to determine what one can gain from each site only they will they be able to contribute more freely with others in a helpful manner.

I pretty much know my audience on each site. And besides, many of the members here are also on those other sites. So I feel I can just continue on writing how I normally do. It is a time factor for me. Managing the time for each. Since each site needs interaction to work, that is where the time problem comes in.
