Do you guys think that walking everyday can avoid lots of disease?

Actually we are celeberating heart week in india and A lot of awareness is being spread about walking half an hour daily can decrease your heart problems .so,I think we all should be attentive towards our healthy future.

Walking is not enough to prevent diseases. A person has to eat well, sleep well, and exercise enough to enjoy life. I think personal habits have more to play than other factors. Some people are just destroying their health by eating junk, not exercising, plus smoking and drinking too much.

I agree with you but i think walking is one of the major steps that can be taken to avoid disease and it also doesn't need any extra effort like other exercises.so,It can be practised on wider level.
