Share some of what you love about this time of year Fall !!!! Is it the leaves falling?.. Does it look like Trix cereal with all the colors? Is it the cooler weather? Is it Holiday time? Of course you might have different opinions, so let's hear them

I love this season as it starts making more veggies around at the local markets. Today, however the scenario has changed and we do get many veggies almost all round the year, but a few years back, I would wait anxiously for the first cauliflowers to arrive. I also will wait for the cooler weather each year - but today, it does not go that good with my arthritis. Still, I love it. The only thing I dislike is that it starts the days where there is more darkness around... The sunlight is for shorter times and that makes things... ummm.... bad (maybe not the right word) - in fact it makes me lazy. What do you find interesting and also not so interesting? You did not mention that on your discussion!!!

I enjoy the fall colors but not the cooler weather. I am seeing the farmers taking soy beans ou of the ground and now they are cutring the corn preparing it for market also.

@Rosekitty I've heard that Texas can get as hot as Botswana. My heart goes out to you, having to also deal with the humidity! We get dry heat, as intense as the heat is, at least we don't have much humidity.

I love the changing of the colors of leaves, as they are so pretty, but only on the trees. They aren't pretty on the ground. I also love the cooling of the weather, however, we are still warmer than normal.

@Rosekitty I still have to use fans to coll the house off, but i know that won't last forever, so for now, I guess I will just accept the warm weather, as more than likely, the winter will get cold, and we will definitely want the warm weather we are having now, then, when we really need it.

It is my preferred season. I like to go to pick mushrooms in the woods and to do long walks in the nature.

Leaves fall so that when spring starts new and fresh leaves could come on trees. It is a nature's way to shed old and outlived leaves and we should enjoy nature.

Honestly, I only like the cooler weather about this time of year. What I dread about it is the fact that winter is getting close. The holidays are cool and I do look forward to them. But recently I haven't been prepared for them.

A little bit cooler and rain here today. Dreary as all get out. I much prefer the medium warm sun on the colorful tree leaves.

I don't think there is anything I love about fall. It's not the season for me. I mean yes to see the leaves change colors is nice, but that clearly means things will start dying away (the flowers, the trees with go bare, the grass will die), and with fall comes the cold. Which I absolutely hate. So nope, don't like fall at all. Spring is my season.

I love all the preparations for Halloween (although stores have been doing that since a couple months back !). We love visiting all the Halloween shops and events - and decking the whole house up with Halloween madness. The season motivates me to bake and cook more - it's a food kinda weather!

My favorite season is the summer, but I love the transition period from summer to light winter. The first weeks of autumn are my favorite because the temperature is ideal for walking outside in the nature and the heavy raining hasn't started yet.

@Rosekitty It starts in mid-October, they are predicting the beginning of heavy raining this week. September is the best month of autumn in Greece, it gets a little windy but the weather is perfect for small trips to the nature. There are still many tourists in my city but in my opnion the best time to visit is end-May and June, if you ever consider it.

I really don't know. I should. I guess the farmers getting the crops out of the fields. My house is surrounded by corn this year and you can't see much of anything and going around curves and corners is dangerous. Especially when some people just haul @$$ down the road. My daughter almost got hit coming down the road last week because of just such an idiot.
