My So-Called Haiku

One reason I find sites like myLot or Bubblews appealing is because it tends to be a good platform for me to indulge in freeform writing without worrying so much about nitpicking too many details. When you're making small postings several times a day, you're not really trying to focus so much on constant edits and rewrites. You basically just let the words flow and see if any magic happens to come out. This is quite similar to other techniques that writers like using to get around writer's blocks and keep the juices flowing. Another tactic I used to like doing was making up quick haiku to get my mind in the right frame of thought for writing. I figure this is a pretty fun activity so, why not do some? Headlights coming close Happiness wrapped in eggroll You can keep the change Robot arms tickle His giggles are infectious "Daddy's a robot!" Quarter from your ear The quarter was in your hand Innocence is Lost ... Like I said, my "So-Called" Haiku lol. Anyway, feel free to put your own haiku in the comments. It's pretty fun when you give it a try. Just use the 5 syllable-7 syllable-5 syllable form and go wild.

@Cleptomanx The limerick is meant to be comical, Whimsical, silly, nonsensical, I hope you like mine, But I'll try not to whine If you think my efforts pathetical.
