We have a closest Family friend named Jhon who often visit or come in our house. He's actually a close friend of my husband which has become also a friend of the entire family. When he's in the house,He also play and cuddle my kids which I appreciated most.
One day He was out of town for two days and when he went home here in our hometown,We are all surprised and happy of what he brought with us.I'ts a pasalubong in Filipino term but we considered it as a gift.
He brought packs of cookies,2kls of Durian,4kls of Lansones/ Lansium domesticum,4 kls of Mangosteen/Garcinia Mangostana,4kls of Rambutan/Lychee ,2kls of Lechon and a Chivas Regal-Blended Scotch Whisky. He's very thoughtful and generous indeed.
At that time we did not eat our breakfast,we excitedly eat all what he brought with us as he arrived in the house early in the morning.
We are all happy for the blessings. He's a blessing in the Family.
Have you had a friend like him?Do you often receives gifts from a friend?share your story..

You are blessed. I do have a friend who would do a lot of stuff for me..He took care of my mom for four years.. Not that my mom wasn't able to take care of herself.. but he would be there to check on her everyday.. sometimes sleep in our home and keep her company when all of us left the city., It was a really precious gesture.

@sofssu Checking your mom everyday may not a hassle to her but it's the efforts he spent is highly regarded and well valued.
You do blessed too to have her.Their efforts given to us is one of a million for it's really hard to find a good and a true friend, who never leaves us behind but walk together with us through thick and thin times.

Those he brought us are fruits that are famous here in my country and is still growing and available up to now. Those fruits are very sweet in taste. My favorite is the Mangosteen,a good antioxidant.
