I have just found out about an online website that calculates your environmental footprint. It has simple questions and you can answer them quickly.
My result was 3.62. Which means that "We would need 3.62 planets if everyone lived your lifestyle" and they tell us that we only have one.
This makes us think about what we are doing to our planet.

That site has some of the questions with no option for "None of the above". As such, this does not cater to many things - and if I have to continue, I have to put in wrong inputs (or select wrong and non-applicable options). This makes the entire survey or generation of the reports wrong.
So my take, this is just another website, without any value for me. Sorry.

some questions are hard to answer, maybe it depends on the country. anyway i got a 2.7, but i doubt if it's accurate.

It's rigged. The flight thing had a bigger impact because it's based on UK being zone 1, and my flight was between 3 and 4, and I only fly once every so many years. Anyway, it said 2.63 for me. Which is the reverse of your numbers. :P

To some degree that is what I think they are getting at. If you use 10 times more paper tissue then your carbon footprint is bigger than if you didn't. However if you plant trees then paper is available for the life style you want but how can you produce paper without making big smoke, again part of the carbon footprint.

@Bluedoll We have to make things better if we want to live in this planet for some more years.

Okay, so we would need 3.39 planets if everyone lives like I do.

This was interesting. The UK version didn't work well for the U.S., but as I knew, my footprint is high. In many of our cities, public transport isn't a viable option. For example, where I live in Arizona, the bus would take 3 hours. I can drive in 20 minutes. In other cities, such as Boston, it's very feasible.

I am not a big "friend" of our environment. It feels so good to use a car instead of walking for example. And I love to eat meat.

Yes, we should change some of our habits in order to make this planet live a bit more.
