A Dream I Had Today

I am stepping into a well lit,beautiful,small house.I know that the house I am entering is mine and is built with my own earnings.With me are my parents and my sisters.Inside the house there is a small,beautiful room with a book shelf brimming with books of my choice near my bed.Adjacent to my room is my parents' room- spacious,well lit and decorated.Suddenly someone comes rushing and informs me that I have cleared the interview and am selected for my dream bank job.We get elated.My friends pour in to congratulate me.And then enters an old lady.She's my granny.I rush towards her and she embraces me tightly.She kisses me and showers her blessings on me. It was the dream I had early in the morning today.My mom says I was smiling when she woke me up. They say dreams we have in the daytime come true. But wasn't this dream too good to be true? My mother says,'No,if you can dream of something,you can realize it too.

@Jessicalynnt,Who doesn't love such dreams,dear!! But the reality is that good dreams can become a reality only by hard labour.Yes,I woke up with a smile,but only to face the same monotonous schedule.

Greetings, Jaishankar! Seems to me you had one of those dreams in which you don't want to wake up soon. Those are such great dreams. It has been a while since I had one of those. I had never heard about the day dreaming thing. So, she believes that if you day dream something, it will happen? I'm pretty sure, though, that what you dreamed about is totally possible. You can achieve it. I'm sure that if you put your heart into it, you'll eventually get there. You can do it! Respectfully.

@munhozmib,Tons of thanks,dear friend.Yes,I was reluctant to wake up from the sweet dream to the harsh realities of life.My mother says this dream shows what my future can be like.She has advised me to labour hard and pray to God.She says that not only daydreams that you see while sleeping,even the dreams you see with open eyes come true.All you have to do is believe in God and labour hard.

@amnabas,My mother says that the dream is telling me to work hard and pray to make it come true.She says this dream has showed to me what my future can be like provided I labour hard and believe in God.Thanks.
