My friend - Lost in the mountains near Kathmandu / myLot

We are all sitting on tender hooks waiting for news of our dear friend from my hometown who has gone missing in a plane while taking a private chartered flight over the Himalayas near Kathmandu. Petro told me last week that she was on her way to do a spiritual trip in Nepal and next year I should have saved enough to join her. I am hoping that she and I will be doing a next year trip . . . Keep her in your prayers.

Oh my, I can only hope that she is safe and can continue her trip. May be the aircraft has landed somewhere and they will find it.

I know that she hasn't been found as yet, but I would think there is still hope. There are still many places especially in mountainous regions where phone service may be limited. May God be with her in this time and I will pray with you that she is safe and sound.

that is our major concern, we are watching the international news and hoping the rescue operations are well under way. buts it night there, so when its dark, hope is lost

but is there any way that you can ask someone to go and look for her? since how many days has she been gone? maybe you should tell the police to try to find her

Are you still on tenter hooks - hope not. I know about that plane which we were to take when I was in Nepal. The weather was bad and so there was no point in taking it as it was supposed to circle the Himalayas for us to have a closer look.
