Working With Music In The Background

I like music, but instrumental.

I either have the music or the TV on in the background when I work at home. At work we have music playing in the background so it makes for a nice day working.

Mellow music is okay with me when working especially if the song is inspirational. But even if there is no music it does not really matter to me for as long as I love what I am doing.

No no I cant work in pindrop silence its depressing so i always have my ear plugs on

i totally like working with a background music while working because it relieves the pain and stress of continuous work load. also i would like to add to it that i listen music while cooking while reading while driving while riding and of course while working as well. music is my passion, it's simply my life as well

I just cannot concentrate on my work, if the music is going on even in background. During lunch break or tea breaks, light music is welcome. If am listening to music, I will just enjoy music only.

I always have something on in the background unless I am doing phone work. If involved with phone work I keep things quiet.

Our office is too noisy. If they switch on the music, that will be worse. I think we will all go mad with all the noise in the office. That is the problem with open concept office. It is so noisy because you can hear everything that people say.

Here at the office i have a small Music Girl that is always on FM , when i am working . It makes me alive listening to it while working . Yes, upbeat ones would make me and my officemate who shares the room with me , dance while seated .

Oh that is the worse sound that drives me crazy. Tapping keyboards I do prefer the quiet sound of zen.. and perhaps a little soft music.

I prefer to work in total silence, because I have to concentrate on my work and the music is distracting.

I love music, especially the mellow ones (never the metal or rock type), but there are times when I also like to work in a simply quiet moment. It's when I get more focused. He! He! He!

That always depends on my specific situation. Under high stress, I prefer it somewhat quieter, in order to think more clearly.

I do like music if it's not too intrusive.

Yup, a mellow or even slightly upbeat music helps set up the mood while working... we always play some in our office. ;)

I love some background music. It makes me eel more focus and it is entertaining too especially when a song i love is played
