Tree kangaroo Wondiwoi (Dendrolagus mayri) also known as Wondiwoi Tree-kangaroo or Mayr Tree-kangaroo is one kind of kangaroo that lives on the island of Papua, Indonesia. Tree kangaroos Wondiwoi even an endemic species found only on the island of Papua. Very Rare and Endangered. Tree kangaroo population certainly Wondiwoi (Dendrolagus mayri) may never be known. However IUCN Red List predict the number of tree kangaroo population is around 50. Because it is not surprising then enter the IUCN Red List Tree Kangaroo Wondiwoi or Wondiwoi Tree-kangaroo as a Critically Endangered species or species that are critically endangered (Critical).

They are very pretty kangaroos and should be on the endangered animal list if there are only 50 left on the island. Were they being hunted for their skins?
