I love October

I love October! Don't you? Whats not to love? The leafs are changing from green to golden brown, the sound of the wind blowing through the trees and best of all Halloween. The feel of the whole month is just so eerie. theirs much anticipation leading up to Halloween. I remember growing up we would make crafts to celebrate autumn and sit around the tv watching scary movies trying to decide on a costume. But of course there came a time in my life where holidays and childish crafts were far from my mind. I was only interested in going out with my friends and having different experiences. while it was fun there was still a part of me that just wanted to go out side and collect leafs and carve out pumpkins. Then one November I met my wife. We fell in love and shortly after we had our first kid. Now three years later we've had our second child and the spirit of October could not be more alive. When is see my sons face full of excitement and wonder it just fills may heart with warmth and reminds me why I love October so much. Whats your favorite part of October?
