decorating the sweet home... Help please...

we are shifted in new flat, it is somewhat bigger... we have just started decorating it , walls and roof and gallery... can you suggest any idea which you used in decorating and you liked it veery much...

Wood , nice teak, carved wood.. I love some of handpicked furniture I have all carved teak wood.
