Education! Y U SO EXPENSIVE?!

Arghh! Life is so tough sometimes. Like having to decide whether to remain in India and do my MBA here or go abroad through GMAT and pursue an international MBA? One can be done for reasonable sum ( CAT ) and the other for a fortune (GMAT) ! Though the returns are also proportional but still! Shouldn't education be more affordable? If it is the only way to solving everything ranging from poverty to crime, shouldn't it be made more affordable world-wide? We hear so much about defense deals and campaign funding but really- ever heard billions of dollars being given from a nation to nation specifically for the purpose of education? What could possibly be the reasons and how to fix this!

Believe me education is not so expensive in India, it is much more expensive to study abroad. We also have good colleges so whatever you can study here you shd do here ,,My daughter did her MBA at TAPMI in Manipal , then went abroad to work,,,

Ohh that's nice to knoiw! But I just went to a seminar and they showed us the avg salaries people get after a foreign degree and it was in no comparison to even the best of the IIMs! So if education is a one time investment, why not make it a good one and reap the benefits lifelong!

Even if you do a degree in Foreign institute you cannot cover your loans by working in India. You will have to work in that country itself. Simple a country provides according to its economy. India can't give salary similar to America even if you studied in USA so you will have to remain there.
