It's so quiet... shhhhh.... / myLot

I am experiencing something very different tonight. It's quiet. The Girl is in Florida. The Boy is at a friend's house overnight. Only The Man and I are home. And both of us are staring at computer screens. The silence is broken only by the [i]squeak squeak squeak[i/] of my keyboard as I type this. I know it's supposed to go clackity clack, but I have spilled a lot of coffee in it. With no possible distractions, I think we should find a good movie to watch. Any suggestions?

We ended up watching the first episode of Grimm, a series we've been watching for a few years. It was nice to go back to the beginning and I just kept knitting.

i'd be relishin' all that quiet myself 'n'd e'en park the puter 'n perhaps dive into a book...'r take a nice bubble bath 'r somethin'. i fear i aint one much fer movies 'n i'm purty sure ya'd not like my western fav's so'll refrain.

Yes go watch a movie, something you can talk about with each other later, or not. Nath has gone to Singers, and I keep expecting him to pop up any moment, but no its just his dog and me

I'd go out of my mind with all that quiet! I'm the first one up this morning so it's a bit quiet here too. All I hear is hubby's snores as he has been sleeping on the sofa because he's got a nasty cough keeping him up all night.
