Are you one of those people who are always putting your keys somewhere and then forget where you put them and have to rummage through the house looking for them?
Wouldn't it be nice if you could keep track of your keys.
The most obvious thing would be to always put your keys in the same place, like on top of your desk, a hook on the wall or anyplace you designate for those keys.
For the ladies if you carry a purse you could attack a long chain with your keys on it.
For the men you could attack a chain to your wallet or your belt and always have them with you.

@dodo19 Just follow the step above and you can also look for somewhere conveniet in your house where you can always hang your key when at home

My keys are either in my pocket, or in a bowl on my night table beside my bed. If I put them in my purse they disappear down to the bottom.
My mother in law keeps a rack of hooks by her door. Her keys are hung there. Sometimes she still puts them in a pocket or purse and loses them.

Another thing I have found it doesn't matter if the purse is large or small you still can't find anything right away.

@Marcyaz I KNOW! Like, a purse is supposed to be so handy and keep everything a woman "needs" with her, within easy reach. But nothing is ever in easy reach. No matter WHAT you need, it is always at the bottom of the purse!

I have misplaced my keys before. But I usually know where they are, I do keep them in the same place all the time. But they have a new device I saw online that connects to your keychain and has an app to work with it. If you lose your keys you can open the app on your phone and find them. I think thats cool.

I never lose my keys at home. But I have a key to reset my machine at work and sometimes other people will borrow it for theirs also. I have punched out before before realizing I never got them back lol

One good way would be to buy a reeeaaalllyyyyy expensive key ring! If you have something valuable attached to your keys ( assuming those keys are important - like house keys ) you would automatically be more careful about where you place them. Basic human psychology

@Marcyaz When you've got a sort of family heirloom attached to it, trust me, you will

I wanted to start a post on 'keys' but you did it before me.. It is really difficult to manage all the keys and remember where we have kept them. You are right that there should always be a fixed place to put up the keys. If we keep keys at different places, we could land in trouble. I try to keep my cupboard keys, vehicles keys, door keys etc. at a fixed place so that anyone could find it out (even when I am not there).

I have both my sets of keys on a clip so I can attach them to my purse or my backpack (I don't carry my purse when I go to school). Unfortunately, my biggest problem is leaving my keys in the car and locking it because I only remove the car key when I drive and sometimes that dinging doesn't go off when I stop the car. So now my husband has put it on this lanyard so I will see the key before exiting the car.

As long as it is a better plan that will be good for the keys.

@Marcyaz Actually today was the first day I used it and the cord is not noticeable. My husband will probably come up with a different plan.

I always have one particular place in my house where I put the keys so thankfully we don't really have problems with misplaced keys here.
