What's Behind Your Username?

I worked to a company presided by a person that is really into numerology and feng shui. She check out my name and asked me if I am willing to change the spelling of it. My real name is Wilma and she wanted to be spelled as 'Willmah'. I agreed. It will be spelled to be like that on all my email signatures. And for about 10 years, I am using it in on most of the time. :)

I would never change my name because someone in business asked me to. In fact, here in the US, it's probably illegal to make a request like that. My name comes from my love of horses. Many of my best friends have been horses (literally).

Ii is just for my email signatures. Not on legal side. :) So I am still using my real name on documents. :)

The owner of the company i work with are also into Feng Shui . But they didn't tackle our usernames on emails . Only the arrangements of our rooms .

I don't believe on it but we have to abide to the owners' likes .

My username comes from the fact I like ducks, I had a mallard duck pet when I was a kid and people called me "ducky".

My name is Patti, thus pattitude. But I did not come up with that on my own. I was filling out a web form when I was typing Patti, but autocorrect came up with pattitude. And I liked it and kind of stuck. On many other sites, I am gidget, if you look at my last name, you can see why. It became a nickname in the real world, so I use it sometimes.

My username here came about, because my favourite colour is blue and I am from 'sa' South Africa :-). It is interesting that you added on the H to yours because of numerology and feng shui.

What is behind my username? In Pilipino it means always late (huli-ito). Because when I was young every time I found a girl that suited me nice, I was always late . . someone's already owned her heart! Then I found a really hot girl one day . . too bad she already got 4 kids.

I didn't change my name because of numbers I changed it out of survival. When your parent's give you a boy's name and spell it like a boy's name you have no other choice. Otherwise your whole life people will be asking you if your Dad wanted a boy and you do get so tired of telling them he already had one. That is great.

@wiLLmaH That's true! I have a former officemate who was so pretty but her parents call her Boboy. And, I once had a landlord who was so macho & handsome but he was named by his parents Baby. See?
