Chinese are still starving ?

I heard a joke (actually not a joke )which goes like this : An American Mom told her children "behave yourselves or I would send you guys to China where people are starving ", guys , do you think Chinese people are still starving ? What do you think is China like now in your mind if you had never been here .

I'm also Chinese (although I don't live in China) and I don't think people in China are starving. I mean, I bet there are SOME starving people in China, but there's starving people all around the world. I don't think China is particularly bad.

Hey , my dear patriot , you are right , China is becoming better and better although the gap between the wealthy and the impoverished is widening

China is not Heaven, as Communists tried to have us believe. But it is a place where the majority of people barely manage to meet their basic requirement.
