Today i'm really feeling Old..

aw, yer jest a young pup (cat??) i did giggle o'er that bein' in school 'n bein' so anxious to be all grown up to do's i wished. i don't fret the wrinkles 'n other changes'n the outside. jest continue to make the inside more beautiful. somethin' 't which i'm currently strugglin' with. p.s. shame ya aint like myself, i can't see my reflection in mirrors

Age is only what you make of it.

I know exactly what you mean. I can still remember shuffling in the leaves, walking home from school in second grade. I can still smell the same scents in the air, the same warmth from the sun. Why have I become so changed outside, when I am essentially the same person inside?

I'm just a tad older than your oldest - and I have my days of "where have the days/years gone by". I remember back in the days when I just couldn't wait to get older and do what I want to do - and it would seem like forever to get to that point. Now time just whizzes by - I think the clocks are skipping hours and the calendars are flipping pages without me noticing. When they mention vitamin B12 deficiency, I think they mean we need to eat more Vitamin Brownies - and eat 12 of them at a time - ha ha!

I wish I knew who painted my hair white, she or he would have a bad hour with me.

I actually don't mind my hair being white, but it's a bit disconcerting seeing my mother staring back at me from the mirror

Oh no, looks like I am going to have to put on my official uniform and come over and do a special dance for you. Oh, yeah!

My oldest is 43, and the youngest is 40, and sometimes I wonder the same thing. What happened? I got older and so did they. I wish I could turn back the clock of time, but I can't. Some days I feel much older than my age, and other days, I feel younger. All I know is that the years have just whizzed by, and I am getting old fast.

Well i'm off to hide all the mirrors How will I put that Make up on ... I need to look good when I have got that chocolate all over my face Who am I?.. Too much of vodka...eh!!! Who put those lines on my face? Blame it on the power failure, even the darkness in the room that got you do this... ..... I have all weird excuses today. But wait, convey my wishes for a great health and peace to your 44 year old... my distant family bro/sis!!!

It's funny because I woke up the other day thinking that. I am only 27, but was remember back in elementary school and high school like it was yesterday.

My oldest is 45 and my three youngest are in their twenties. And what surprised me was when my oldest grandchild went to high school some of the parents were older than me and my husband. They must have had their kids in their forties. You are only as young or old as you feel.

Just don't think about lead your life happily and contentedly.

is it bad that I call mom on her birthday and tell her how old I am to make her feel older? When I was three I made dad a card, yes wrote it myself as I was precocious, that said " gee you sure are old" lol

The older you become, the less frightening it'll be. You can get used to it.

I was feeling the exact way several years ago, now it seems as though I have always been old.

that's how it goes when we are young we cant wait to get older but once you get older you just keep getting older until one day you have a head full of grey hair and you make noise getting up out of your seat. if you can remain young in your spirit and mind you will be ok, I don't mean going out to clubs with 20 year olds I mean still having your kind of fun doing the things you like to do. I still listen to my music I grew up listening to. and im not ashamed to say I still look at cartoons

I think of age in terms of what i have accomplished - my career and most of all my children. Yes we wold all like to be 30 again but I am thankful that I was able to grow and and that I a blessed to be growing better.

Ha haa i love the humour in how you describe it. Well i guess time flies without us noticing especially when we have families to take care of them

Ha! Ha! Ha! You made me laugh, my dear! Anyway, you need not hide all the mirrors. We can no longer deny this age as we look at ourselves in those. BTW, 2 years from now I will be 60. Maybe, I will also start hiding mirrors by then. Ha! Ha! Ha!

My kids getting older makes me feel old, but it's even worse now that the grandkids are getting older I feel a lot older.
