Welcome to mylot. You will find a lot of nice people here that will help you all they can. Unfortunately there will be some jerks too. Just ignore them. Forever the lamb gave you some good advice. There are definitely rules here to help us enjoy this site. Making yourself familiar with them will only help you. The other thing is to use the explore option to find some discussions that interest you and comment on them. When you find someone whose writing you like follow them, there is a link for that. Most of the time they will reciprocate by following you back and you will have a base for people to read your discussions. Most of all have fun. That is the best thing to do here and all the rest will come in time.
