A book lover I like to read, touch and keep traditional, printed books in my book shelf.I can read e-books too,but don't like it.In order to read them I have to keep staring at the screen for hours that leaves me fainted with headache.I can't touch them and I can't see them in my bookshelf. I love touching, smelling, keeping and reading printed books. What about you?Are you a book lover or a e-book lover?

I love comics more than books. It gives me that giddy feeling when I read it especially if the art is really good. And since I don't buy any because I think it's a waste, when I get my hands on some from other people I just can't help but be happy as a kid again.

@else34 Oh that's nice. My books are all piled up or stored somewhere. Some I've never read, only bought and planned to read but never got the chance to read the latest ones up to now. That's why I don't like going to bookstores anymore. I buy books but don't get to read them! I think Phantom is a newspaper comic strip here... Not sure if you're talking about the Phantom I know.

@owstalaga It must be the same phantom,I am sure. Here in my town all booksellers are aware of my love for books. They keep informing me about their stock and I choose my choicest books and buy them whenever I can afford.A major part of my earnings is spent on books.

I'm the same as you. I prefer to read actual books. I read ebooks for convenience, but I much prefer having an actual book in my hands.

@else34 Yes I do. The smell of a new fresh book is amazing. I prefer to actually turn the pages to books because it's more exciting that way. The only good thing about ebooks is they're convenient and sometimes free. If there weren't those perks, I would probably never read ebooks XD

@kataomoi Exactly,my friend.New books smell nice, and so do old books. The smell of books whether old or new takes me to a wonderland of imaginations. It reminds me of days that are gone. They make me relive my past that was rosy. I agree with you that the only benefit of old books is that they are cheap, available at throw away prices.I read e-books only if and when their printed version is not available.

@kataomoi,Glad to see a book lover who loves the feel of a book in her hands. For me,it's a divine feeling.I touch books lovingly and smell them also.Do you love smelling them?

@kiran,With e-books there are many problems. You have to keep staring at the computer screen for hours which causes headache and eye problems. You might also have to face power cut problems.Power supply might be interrupted any time and you are left helpless. There are many problems with e-books.I don't think e-books would ever replace books and make them irrelevant.

E book. my reader is not backlit, so it's much less painful to stare at. I dont have the space or the money for real books, not when I can go online and get 5-10 books free a day from various places.

@Jessicalynnt,I can understand,my friend.Printed books are costly. Many of us can't afford buying them.Even I sometimes think a hundred times before buying a book. And now they are getting costlier.E-books are available at throw away prices. Some of them are absolutely free.
