I found it very strange when I first moved here to find that some in some buildings there are more than two businesses like when you walk in the door to the newspaper office it is straight in front of you but off to the right is a computer repair and sales.
Then the Motor Vehicle office is very tiny then off to the side a little is a women's area to buy purses, hats and miscellaneous items.
Those are just a few of the businesses I can think of off the top of my head that have two businesses in one building.
Have you ever seen this?
The picture is of our small theater.

No I have not. But I can understand it may lower the rent for two businesses to share a building. I think it is great Marcy!

They act as if it is done everywhere but for sure it is not as far as I know but hey each to their own way of doing things.

It sounds crowded to me. I don't like small places but maybe it works for the people that use those businesses.

@Butchcass4
They usually only have one person behind the counter but once in awhile they have another person but that person doesn't really know the procedures very well. Sometimes the line is long.

@Marcyaz Well hopefully there isn't too long of a line for too long.

Not that I know of, but that picture of your theater is similar to one we sometimes go to, except it's in Ohio. I love that theater and my husband is taking my son there tonight.

@Marcyaz I don't know, I think 150 because they also rent the theater out and the highest amount is for 150 people.

It is very normal here in India... you always have a better chunk of the market in case some one wouldn't be interested in one of your shops. I have seen people own more than two or three shops in a market.

I live in a small town and we have a lot of local businesses. There's one general store kind of place that also houses a corner comic book store kinda deal. However I think the comic book place is owned by the nephew of the store owner so I'm not sure that's actually two WHOLE businesses in one lol
