Cleaning Is Calming!

I just spent the last hour cleaning out my entire work desk. I threw out soo many old papers and organized all of my folders then cleaed my deskto and computer with a moist cloth. I must admit that I feel nice and calm after cleaning my work area while listening to music and enoying a cup of coffee. I might just do this mord often when I want to calm down lol

It's refreshing to have your work desk nice and clean and organized. But, it's not much fun getting it that way.

I do not find cleaning the least bit calming, but then again I have to do it on a daily basis. If I only had to do it once in a while when I felt like it, then I might also find it calming.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I work at home, so it really does not calm me but rather is just part of my daily routine. I do like cleaning with music on when I can, though, because dancing around and singing with the music does make me happier and lighten my mood.

I've been doing dishes and laundry in between my work load. Also cleaning here and there. It's starting to look presentable around here again.

That is a fact - whenever I am stressed, the duster and the wet cloth come out and I do windows, floors, walls etc, - Its my stress therapy

Cleaning is hard work, but in the end makes me feel so happy and content with seeing my desk all organized and proper. Soothes my nerves.

In my case, I can't work further before cleaning the entire work desk. Managing the things makes me feel lighter and inspires me more. Management is the first thing I love to do.

I have to do the same thing, and maybe get rid of things I don't need. I seem to be a pack rat, but then again, I don't need all the stuff I keep. I will get around to it one of these days though.

I like keeping my computer desk cleaned also. It just makes you feel better. And it motivates you to do more work.

Yes cleaning your work area always makes you feel better. Having a clean, organized home does the same. Everything has a place. My rule of thumb is if you haven't used it in the past year get rid of it.

Now that you finished doing that, please come to my place and help me pick out stuff for the church yard sale. I am getting rid of lots of stuff, but it is such a mess digging things out of storage, closets and alcoves.
