All my stuff is here!! Arranged differently but accessible. Even some new stuff.
Mom and Dad are glad to see me, and pretty careful about the door. They do not need to be, I have no reason to go outside.
There are open windows to lay in. I like the one at the kitchen sink. I can see who is in the back yard. Sometimes I peek out the front door screen but I am not going out there. Yet.
There is a nice cold bathroom floor to lay on. I sneak in behind the door. It feels cozy and safe.
The computer desks are side by side. After supper I get up and put my paws on Mom's keyboard to help.
I am in danger of becoming a lazy cat. I am an explorer, though.
It feels good to know where my people are. They sometimes share their food or give me treats. This is a wonderful life.

She has a definite crease on her skull. Not sure if it from falling off the car or if something else happened after that. She seems to be regaining her weight, and she has shiny black fur. She is not vocalizing so much now. When my sister moved out, and all the changes started you could tell she was upset and she would "call" frequently in a distressed voice about almost everything. That is why I have the impression that she is content here, she is not howling and she is purring and enjoying spending time with us.

@GardenGerty Poor Princess, I hope nobody tried to hurt her. I am sure that she is happy again now. Little by little she will feel more confident, but she is definitely happy now.

One of my neighbors have a cat that is better than any clock--rain or shine he hops on the window sill at 4:30 PM and takes a (one of his many) nap!!! If the sun is shining he puts his body behind the curtain and you just see his paws!!! LOL

Yes, she knows when we need to get up and when we need to go to bed. I can imagine your neighbor's cat, and see him in my mind's eye.

She gave us quite a scare and disappeared in the middle of a long drawn out move. I have always had kitties.

@GardenGerty OMG! That must have been awful for you all. Glad you have her back and enjoy your new place. Doodles is my son's cat. We watch him for 8 months of the year. Long story, but we love him to bits as you love Princess.

I have an old cat, Lacey. Every once in a while, she thinks she needs to go out on the back porch. Why, I have no clue.
Shadowcat, aka Shadow is the newest edition to the family and she doesn't seem interested in the back porch or outside.
However this morning she was trying to catch flying dust.
