I am against medications, you can never know the side effects. The best is to have healthy habits and a healthy diet.

@LadyDuck Yes I too am not too much in favor of medication unless absolutely necessary, A well balanced meal with lots of water and an active lifestyle normally keeps you fit !

@LadyDuck I am like that too.. I would do anything else but take medication.. but sometimes we don't have a choice.. So if you don't like medication what else do you think you need to do .. or are you already doing everything you need to?

@kiran8 I understand that if you really are sick, sometimes, there is nothing you can do, but take medicine, but I avoid as much as I can.

One of the best things to do is get sugar out of your diet...along with exercise...

@sofssu I am in the process of doing it myself... The breads and pastas is what is hard for me...Once i learned that sugar is the one thing that feeds all illness is when i decided to get it out of my diet....

@dlr297 I agree that is the worst part.. I eat rice.. initially it was hard to get of those.. b ut now with small adjustments at a time I have fine tuned my diet to a large extent. I do allow myself a meal of rice or pasta once in a while.

I'm sure I could exercise more, give up bad habits, become more active, and other things. But I don't plan on doing any of those things. A nice long vacation would work wonders for me.

@sofssu I don't think I need to do any of them. I was saying, I'm sure I could use it, but I don't think I need to. My line of thinking is for me to relief my stress, I simply just need to get away from it all.

@TexanTornado But why would you not plan on doing any of those things if you think that is what you need? Maybe I don't understand.

I need to be much more active than I am, I either sit too much working or stand too much cooking and baking and neither is good for our legs and my legs are feeling it, with cramps and so. I need to walk or work out, stretch out, it is just finding the time.
