Be A Good Boy and Come Here

My husband would always be at the desktop computer at the lobby between our room and the dining room at night . I would also be at the bedroom after dinner resting , watching TV and playing games during the commercials or sometimes at my netbook doing myLot . I like it that way , because nobody moves the soap opera I am watching on TV while i am still awake . However , when it is nearly time for me to sleep, I call him and requests that he shuts down the computer so we can also catch up with our days’s happening as he is always at home after he took the early retirement offer of their company . I have to do that , because if not , we would just be married couples , not husband and wives anymore . Communication is still a must to husband and wives and even to those in relationships. Do you agree guys ?

I always treated my wife right but obviously it wasn't enough. Now divorced and with someone else I feel much more free. The woman I have now is cool and relaxed. And a woman like that deserves attention and I give her lots of it. Look, women are the real backbone to a relationship. And yes, communication is important.

I agree with you . The woman should be the initiator of doing things to keep the love alive . Men will follow if they see you do that . Also , always put humor in your conversations .

@SIMPLYD I always use humor. I find it to be a great icebreaker and it keeps things on a happy level.

@SIMPLYD I miss the laughs that my husband and I had. Even in hard times he would find something to laugh about and raise my spirits.

Yes, communication between a husband and wife is imperative, else there will not no warmth in the relations. It is always good to share with each other about day's happenings. At the end of the day, husband and wife should be on same bed to talk to each other. We (me and my wife) share with each other about events which happen during the day and if we have to go to market or for a stroll, we make it a point to move together.

@SIMPLYD - We would go for a evening walk and on our way we would buy some necessities or items of daily need (so we kill two birds with one stone).

@SIMPLYD Calls in the hallway is better than sending an email. I agree having some kind of activity together is better than living a separate life.

@SIMPLYD I prefer that he does not stay in front of his computer late in the evening, this is not good for his headache problem.

Communication is key to any relationship. That is what happened in my first marriage even though I did try, he just wasn't as interested in it as I was.

@simone10 Remember ? It takes two to tango , my dear . So despite giving your effort of being communicative and yet the other person still won't then just leave it like that . At least you have done your part .

I agree! When my wife and I were young, winking, smiling, and grinning were our means of communication most of the time. Whenever I winked at her, she either smiled or pouted! But she knew what I was communicating to her - - . . But now that we are old (not that old though - - hehe), we communicate by words all the time!

I can relate to that because when we were also younger and our daughter is always present at home , winking is a sign for loving - loving . I can perceive that you and your wife have a happy marriage too.

Well, we always stay in our bedroom after dinner, talking while either of us or both of us is on our laptops... though usually, I'd set aside mine if she is doing some research for her school. And of course or little prince is between us sleeping :D

Indeed , that's why i gave him space , like i let him be at the computer while he lets me be at my netbook or other activities . But , we would always at the end of the day put them all down so we will have time to catch up with each other's activities .
