I wish it Would rain!!

Here in CA it's that way too - no rain. We are supposedly getting some by tomorrow - but I just don't know. Lately "rain" hasn't been "rain" - more like pathetic little drops of some wet stuff. . You shake it over there - and I'll shake it over here . . . I just hope we don't cause an earthquake! [opening mouth for a shower of brownies]

Oh dear. No rains is definitely a grim situation. Enough of damage has been done to the Mother Nature and they still have not read the warnings correct. I am all for the rain dance to please the Rain Gods. Is there a dress code for the dance or are we planning a tribal folk dance dressed in tree leaves

i feel fer ya folks. went through drought here fer some years 'n jest climbed outta it this year. we've lost way more acreage to fires than most're aware 'f coz 'f the population 'f peeps aint that vast. i aint sure which part'f texas ya hail from? from lubbock 'n up seem to be fairin' purty well. there's more storms movin' in this weekend - hopefully y'all'll get some'f that wet schtuff.

Make sure it has walnuts in it, because my rain dances are like magic.

I did a sun dance, to tell to the clouds dropping rain here to take your direction, but as I am not a good dancer, a Canadair would be probably better.

been dancing like mad, since after the flooding early this year anyways. I think this winter will be a bad one though, lots of ice and rain, el nino and all that right? This is my first year in Texas for that so dunno what to expect

We are having a massive downpour right now, so I wish I could send you some water. Last week we got so much rain in 30 minutes that the roads were impassible.

We haven't had any significant rain since March, so we do need it desperately. All the lawns around here are brown, and look awful. It wouldn't take much to start a fire, that is for sure. We are supposed to get rain this weekend, and I hope we do, at least enough to do some good, as what we have had a few times, is just a few drops. I am afraid that the rain we do get just won't quit, and we will get way to much.

Too bad we cannot control the atmosphere. I think if Tesla was left alone, he would have devised a system where we would be able to. Then again, being nature, I am sure it is something we have to live with.

We are experiencing the same here. The rains are not that frequent. We anticipate water shortages next year. Something needs to be done.

Oh, I will be very glad to rain dance for you, my dear. The problem is, we're on signal No. 1 of a typhoon. I'm afraid my rain dance might bring you good cheer but a disaster for us!
