Yes there is Christmas on the brain, no idea why but its in my head. So what is your favorite Christmas carol? If you don't celebrate Christmas what songs do you know from your religion that you enjoy singing?
I guess my favorite Christmas songs are pretty dirty, another favorite of mine is "Grandma Got Ran over by a reindeer" that is I think one of my favorites along with Its a white Christmas and a lot of other ones.
Also I love all of the food that comes out on Christmas that the family bakes and cooks.
Another thing, you notice how they put Christmas decoration out in the stores right around Halloween? lol I know you celebrate one holiday and the next is already out!

I don't want to rush the season any more .... I'd rather just enjoy each day as it comes. Christmas is a long way off.

@nafretiti We celebrate alone since family is 800 miles away, so I don't need a lot of time to prepare.

I remember Christmas caroling and love cards with a sleigh scene. I like to listen to different types of music at Christmas. The funny ones you mentioned one of and the traditional. I love all the Christmas food and the mood that this time of year brings out in people. I think that we can choose to look at the fact that the stores bring out the next holiday fair right away as a gimmick to sell goods or we can look at it as a service to those who start thinking about the next holiday right after the last one is over and want to get started on it. It is all in the way we think I guess.

I'm hoping to save up enough money for Christmas stuff, but the traditional things are awesome, the good ole times, I remember going to my grandparents house in Minnesota ,was fun there everyone came over, beautiful tree.

I don't know the name of the song or even the words but its the one that sounds like it is a choir and they sing it like this "one is for spring, two is my ring, three is for kings, all over things... merry merry merry merry Christmas, merry merry merry merry Christmas", then it gets louder at the end. I also like jingle bell rock

@nafretiti yeah, it's hard when there was someone who made that holiday special suddenly not there anymore. thanksgiving and gramps is like that, he would "help" me decorate the outside of his house, bumbling around, but fetching and being funny, i miss that.

Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are all of my favorites, it doesn't seem the same though with my dad gone since 2004. I miss him.

Nice, I bet it was a cool song! There are a few christmas songs by irishmen that I enjoyed listening to. I'd have to find them again.

haha I really can't blame you Judy, sometimes I see it everywhere before it even actually starts and it is tiring.
