We call it the horse radish, moringa, moringana, and in our country malunggay. It has been with us for centuries and has been use for food and medicinal purposes. Testimonies has been told that it can heal diseases even cancer. I had severe.migraine before and since I drink this as tea it never recur. Do you know that it grows anywhere even in the desert.?Has anyone tried this?. Do you know this tree?

When my mom was really ill all she would eat was small doses of soup made with the leaves. I am trying to get a small tree in a container . We used to have a huge tree in our parents home. We cook the leaves and the vegetable, They also make a tea of the bark as a remedy to some ailments.. I forget what.

It is interesting to hear about miracle tree and it is good that it could cure your diseases also. As it grows in sub-tropical or tropical regions, I have not seen it in New Delhi.
I have checked it is also called drumstick tree. It produces long green pods that have been compared to a cross between peanuts and asparagus. The peeled roots are used as a substitute for horseradish and the edible leaves make a highly nutritious vegetable. Its leaves contain vital vitamins, calcium and potassium and even proteins.
We use drumstick for preparing gravy dishes but I did not know about the drumstick tree and I am not sure if drumstick, we use are part of this miracle tree or come from this tree?

Yes try looking it up in youtube and you will see all its' uses. for toothaches, for wounds, just put a leaf on a bleeding wound and it will stop the bleeding. Even anti inflamatory so it won't swell. There's a lot more uses for this look it up at Youtube

I'm not sure, but I'm also someone who has severe migraines, so I'm curious about this. Mine are so bad that they last 3-5 days and nothing seems to help them at all:/

I love malunggay! Sadly I don't get to eat it that much these days... I don't cook any dish that has malunggay in it. I only know it is cooked with Tinola which I rarely cook.
