How I make about a Euro a day doing absolutely nothing.

Last year I got so hooked on the easy money at Bubblews (yes, remember those happy days, ladies and gentlemen) that I neglected several of the other sites where I used to be active. One of these was trivago.co.uk Trivago was a site I used to be very involved with until a rather nasty falling out with one of the senior members seven years ago. I fell out of love with them then and just did a little bit of work now and then. Earlier this year I tried to get engaged again but had some problems with their IT systems and stopped completely. A few weeks ago I went to have another look, thinking that I might have a few pounds worth of old earnings somewhere in the system. I got quite confused because the site had a big makeover and things were no longer where I expected them to be. I clicked a button to redeem whatever money I was owed, but couldn't see how much it might be. Then last week €230 landed in my paypal account. That's about $260. I was shocked. So now I pop back more regularly to see how much I'm owed. I'm not doing any work for them so I can only assume the earnings are from people I introduced to the site who are still doing income generating tasks. I estimate that whilst I sit back and do nothing, I'm earning about a Euro per day. As you can imagine, I'm delighted. Have you ever found unexpected money being earned on your account on a website with which you are involved?

Are you sure that you have not put a link to Trivago on one of your websites ? For what I know Trivago pays their affiliates about $0.45 for any search for a hotel sent to their site, but I don't think that they pay you to refer people ??? I might be wrong.

No, I don't think it's that. The system used to be that you earned a small percent of the points that were earned by anyone you introduced or mentored. They stopped that earlier in the year and I think there was an outcry so I can only guess that they started doing it again.

It was that way with Epinions. Passive income was the order of the day if you had good stuff out there. I think there was a bit of passive income on Bubblews for awhile a well. And there is here. But nothing like a pound a day over a long period of time.

Wow, I never even heard of the site, but that's a lot of money to get, especially when you didn't even know they owed you that much!

What kind of work do you do there at trivago. Is it a writing site. Good that you get passive income there.

It's a hotel comparison site. I used to write a lot of hotel and attraction reviews and add photos but they stopped that years ago. Mostly now it's all about improving hotel listing information and stuff like that. Not really worth joining at this stage but for those of us who were in at the beginning it was a great site.

Never anything as amazing as that! I still have the occasional dollar trickle in from writing sites I no longer contribute to.

Unfortunately it's not a writing site and a lot of the tasks are quite tedious but now and then they come up with something I enjoy doing.

Thank you - getting paid for stuff you didn't do certainly makes up for the sites that don't pay you for the things you have done.
