how to get refferals?

please teach me how to get refferals for the online earning sites? trying to convince my facebook friends to join and most important stay active hasn't been successful for me so far

I usually use my Facebook to get referrals to awesome sites like Tsu. Tsu is a good site like facebook and mylot. They pay you for the content that you post. It's been working for me so far.
